The Blink 182 concert was awesome! My Blink Experience started out when Louda and Rikki picked me up. We made some stops, like at Wendy's, where we were thoroughly amused by the big black woman that was probably a man before. Yah, we think "she" was a man... Well... Rikki had the pleasure of seeing her yank her top down to show the employees of Wendy's her new tatoo. LoL! We were on our way officially to Blink after our trip to Giant Eagle to pick up munchies for after the concert.
So we made it to the Mellon Arena with no problems, but then we had the problem of finding out which line we had to be in to get INTO the arena. So we got in one, and got in... after some scary woman frisked me and lifted up my shirt to make sure I wasn't carrying any concealed weapon. Oh, c'mon, I'm a nice Franklin Boro girl, why would I have any weapons? So we got in, got our T-Shirts, and went to our crappy seats. We were up so far, and there was no room to jump around! So when Fenix TX came on(They are awesome!), we went down to see if there was any way to get in the mosh pit... no such luck...
So we went and sat back down. Dammit. Then Louda, being the genious that she is, found a space down at the front of the sitting section and we were going to wait until Blink to go down there and stand. It's a good thing we didn't, cause that was where everyone wanted to be! So we went down during Bad Religion, and got in the 3rd row!
Then Blink came on! Oh my GOD! If you think these boys are hot in pictures, you should see them in person!!! Whew! They are hotties! They played a lot from Enema of the State, but also Dude Ranch, which was awesome! They were so hilarious! Mark was all jumping around the stage, and Tom made sure he pointed out everytime that a girl lifted their shirt for them. They played with the giant balloon floating around in the mosh pit, yelled at people, made fun of people, it was great!
They told us when there were only 3 more songs left, but that they would come back out to play us 2 more songs. Then came the best thing I've ever seen in my life. The Thong Song started to play, and MARK RAN OUT IN HIS BOXERS!!!!!! :) AND HE CAME AND SHOOK HIS ASS AT US!!!!! ahhhhhhh, that was the highlight of the night! Tom came out (unfortunately fully clothed) and was dancing around to the Thong Song too. It was too funny!
Blink ended with our favorite song Mutt! That made us all happy :) Their last song was Dammit, which was a good thing, cause if they didn't play it, the guy next to Louda probably would've killed someone! He was yelling for them to play Dammit the entire concert!
We didn't score any back stage passes, but damn were we close to our Blink Boys <3
